About Us

About The Dental Mental Network

The Dental Mental Network (DMN) was formed by Sue Jeffries, Carlos Rodriguez, and Sandy Lee, with a single vision: to help fellow dental professionals navigate life and improve their own lives through managing their mental health.

DMN is a resource for those suffering from mental health issues along with those who simply want to better their lives by learning coping mechanisms, healing techniques, or finding support within their peer groups. This is a nonprofit organization built for healing, sharing, and removing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Carlos, Sue, and Sandy have all suffered differing versions of mental health issues. Having been through these trials throughout their respective journeys, they have banded together to offer help and hope to others as they tread through personal trials.

All of our goals and our joint vision will be accomplished by offering different avenues of support, platforms for sharing, and other strategies for personal betterment. Whether it’s finding self-help books, connecting with fellow dental professionals going through similar circumstances, or taking a weekend for a boutique healing retreat, all these options are or will be available through this website and this organization.
